Man dead in Wheatbelt crash
A 39-year-old man was killed when his vehicle crashed near the Wheatbelt town of Calingiri last night.
Police said the man lost control of his Mitsubishi utility and it rolled about 10km south of Calingiri on the Calingiri-Goomalling Road, about 5km from the Toodyay-Bindi Bindi Road, just before 8.30pm.
The man, who was alone in the vehicle, died at the scene.
A police spokeswoman said major crash officers were investigating.
Calingiri is about 140km north-east of Perth, near New Norcia, in the Shire of Victoria Plains.
