Armed robber steals from Burswood Deli

Police are looking for a thug who held up a deli in Burswood last night.

The man entered the Anytime Deli on Great Eastern Highway, near Griffiths Street, about 8.45pm.

He threatened staff – possibly with a syringe – then stole cash from the register and fled on foot.

He was last seen running west towards Burswood train station.

Police described him as fair-skinned, 30 to 40 years old and around 180cm with a slim build.

He was dressed in black clothes.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
