Hot air balloon's nail-biting near miss with highway
This hot air balloon ride could have ended in disaster when it got way too close to a busy English highway.
The typical balloon ride isn’t meant to get the adrenalin pumping, but this one sure did.
The incident happened on Marine Drive in Southport on Saturday.
Footage captured by a driver’s dashcam shows just how close the joy ride came to ended in disaster.
As the car gets closer we see the bright red balloon come into full view, heading closer and closer towards the road.
The car appears to be on a collision course with the balloon.
Fortunately the balloon manages to keep up its shocking low height and floats above the cars without incident.
