Scorned woman keys ex-boyfriend's car but misspells her insult

A woman who allegedly keyed her friend’s car with a misspelt version of the word ‘whore’ has lashed out at the people making fun of her.

Shannon Csapilla, 20, from Connecticut, was arrested by US police last week after cars belonging to her ex-boyfriend and one of her friends were found keyed with their tyres punctured.

According to WTNH News, local police said the word ‘wore’ was carved into the side of the woman’s car.

Officers believed the vandalism was a result of a messy love triangle.

Csapilla allegedly sent harassing text messages to her ex after he found the damage, admitting she was the vandal.

She’s since denied it after being arrested last week, and posted a photo of the police building on Snapchat with the comment ‘Stamford police have nothing on me’.

"Unbeknownst to her, we did have enough and we obtained two arrest warrants from a judge and took her into custody at her home," Lt Diedrich Hohn said.

The story has since gone viral and Csapilla has used her Instagram to hit back at Internet trolls.

"To everyone who thinks what I did was "hysterical", what I did wasn't okay, but what you all are doing to me isn't, by any means, okay either," she wrote.

"Don't worry, I'm not an English major. We all make mistakes. Move on with your lives."

She has since been charged with criminal mischief and released on $10,000 bail.

She was also ordered not to contact her ex or her friend until after her court appearance.
