An unsuspecting boyfriend found himself at the centre of a social experiment recently when he was approached by a stranger and asked if he would sell his girlfriend.
In a controversial video posted to YouTube, notorious prankster Joey Salads sets out to test the concept of love versus money.
The five-minute clip shows him sitting down beside a couple and casually asking: “How much would you sell her for?”
While initially skeptical, the young man starts to reconsider when Salads pulls out $1000.
He appears even more tempted when Salads offers up another $10, 000.
At this point the guy's girlfriend angrily storms away, saying she won't have sex for money and asking her partner whether he'd be happy to sleep with a stranger.
But her boyfriend won't give up without a fight.
He tells the her it's a 'lot of money' and eventually gets his way.
But the young man does manage one chivalrous gesture, promising to wait for his girlfriend until she gets back.
