Man arrested after weekend shooting in Adelaide

A man has been arrested following a double shooting in the northern Adelaide suburb of Pooraka on the weekend.

Two men were each shot in the leg just before midday on Saturday, prompting a hunt for a gunman.

Both men were taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police today arrested a 42-year-old man from West Hindmarsh and charged him with two counts of aggravated cause serious harm and two counts of acts to endanger life.

He has been refused bail and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
