Woman charged over alleged petrol attack

A woman has been charged after allegedly throwing bottles of petrol at the doors of a police station and at a police car in Sydney.

An officer at Mascot police station witnessed the incidents at about 3.30pm on Wednesday, police said.

The alleged offender was seen getting into a black Alfa Romeo and police later arrested a 31-year-old woman at a unit in Rosebery.

She was charged with several offences, including destroy/damage property, and was granted strict conditional bail to appear in Waverley Local Court on October 1.
