Alleged Brisbane drug traffickers arrested

Three men from the Brisbane region have been arrested and charged with drug trafficking after a six-month police operation.

Two of the men, aged 40 and 52, have been charged with drug and child exploitation offences.

The third man, a 37-year-old from Cleveland, has been charged with trafficking and serious drug-related offences.

Police arrested seven people in total.

The operation, which began in April, resulted in 22 search warrants executed in Brisbane and northern NSW.

Officers allegedly found methamphetamine, drug production equipment, firearms, stolen vehicles and assorted stolen property.

Several vehicles, including two motorbikes, were seized during the operation and are being investigated under proceeds of crime legislation.

The men will face the Cleveland Magistrates Court in coming weeks.
