A Victorian police officer has been charged with possessing child pornography and transmitting objectionable material.
The constable was charged following a Professional Standards Command investigation into alleged transmission of a child exploitation image, a Victoria Police statement said.
He has been suspended without pay and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on October 24.
