Lily's legacy
A Melbourne couple has turned the loss of their baby girl into a permanent legacy at the Royal Women's Hospital.
Born prematurely, baby Lily lived for just one day, long enough to inspire her parents to set up the Lilyroo fund in her honour.
Like all new parents, Kristie and Peter were excited about their baby's impending arrival. The couple spent a day and a half with their daughter, long enough for both parents to form a lifelong bond.
To show their appreciation to the Royal Women's Hospital, Kristie and Pete have set up the Lilyroo fund which has already raised $22,000.
