Gold coast bus driver punched
A bus driver has been punched in the face at Surfers Paradise.
The incident happened just after 11 this morning, on the Gold Coast Highway southbound, near Thornton Street.
Police are now searching for two males and one female who may have been involved.
The offenders were last seen running towards Surfers Paradise Boulevard.
One witness says they didn't want to pay for a ticket and began abusing the driver.
When he demanded they get off the bus, it's believed one of the men threw a punch.
It's the second attack on a Gold Coast driver in just over a week.
Police have been trying to stop the violence this week, by been patrolling major bus stops.
