Power fans pumped for Geelong match

While Port Adelaide players have stretched their legs with an early morning walk around Melbourne, fans are eagerly counting down to tonight’s game against Geelong.

Dozens of supporters were also early to rise this morning to catch buses at Alberton, headed over the border for tonight’s semi-final at the MCG.

Port Adelaide will take to the field tonight with an unchanged line-up from the team that knocked Collingwood out of the finals last week.

The Cats have won the past nine matches between the two teams and are strong favourites to proceed to the next round of finals.

But Port coach Ken Hinkley has said he is not bothered by the stats.

"Everyone thinks we're probably less likely to win again this week, but that doesn't worry us. That is perception," Hinkley said.

"We know that if our best football is there and we can apply pressure defensively, we'll give ourselves a chance."
