Lonely lotto winner looking for love

A lonely lotto winner now has everything she's ever wanted in the world - except the love of her life.

Andrea, 34, won lotto nine years ago and has splashed out on holidays, cars and property since her £2.5million ($AU3.8 million).

But the one thing money hasn't brought her is love.

"I was single at the time I won and my status is still the same. Maybe I'm too fussy, but I was quite independent then and I still am now," she told The Sun.

"I'd like to settle down and I believe it will happen some time but it hasn't so far. The money can be an issue for some."

After she won the jackpot back in 2002, Andrea spent some of her cash on holidays for her family and friends and bought a four bedroom house she shares with her border collie and a parrot named Red.

She hopes to start a family soon, and give them the life she never had as a child.

"I'd really like a family of my own one day so I'm trying to make the money last," she said.

"I want to be able to do things for my children and give them a better life than I had."
