NAB customers hit by pay glitch ... again

The National Australia Bank is having yet more account processing problems.

The bank has confirmed to the ABC that some account balances are not up to date.

NAB has also been communicating with obviously frustrated customers on its official Twitter account.

"Some NAB customers' account balances may not be up-to-date this AM. We are investigating the issue and will update ASAP," it noted on its official Twitter page.

It has also apologised to affected customers, including a string of apologies on Twitter.

"Truly sorry for the delay - our team are investigating and I'll update everyone ASAP," the bank responded to customer queries.

NAB says it is working on the issue, but could not give the ABC an estimate on when the problem will be resolved.

The bank has suffered recurrent computer problems since a major glitch in November which caused some transactions to be delayed for several days.
