Luxury mansion comes complete with rare Porsche

A couple of Brisbane retirees are selling their mansion, but it’s the added sweetener that’s got the real estate world talking.

Seller Jean Paul Shelburn is throwing in a $100,000 rare Porsche to the new buyer of the Chelmer home.

“Whoever buys it is going to have an awesome Porsche just to drive down and show off,” agent Brad Robson said.

The luxury Laurel Avenue home already comes with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a pool and a separate guest quarters.

“The Porsche is no longer needed for the seller,” Mr Robson said.

“So it was a case of trade it in and do a dealer with a car dealer, or allow the person who buys this home to really have it.”

The owners designed the home with the Porsche in mind, building a hoist for the 1993 Carerra 911 to get it off the ground.

It’s not the first time an agent has resorted to flashy deals, with theme park property ads and try-before-you-buy options being used in the market.

Mr Shelburn says he has just one condition to whoever buys the property at Saturday’s auction.

“Don’t drive 100 miles an hour down the road because I live just down that way,” he said.
