Parents feature in hoverboard fail videos

Scraped knees, broken bones and large holes in the walls are common side effects of owning a hoverboard, although it's not only children getting battered and bruised while trying the new toy - parents and even grandparents are jumping on (and falling off) the hoverboard bandwagon.

One Instagram user found humour in a large hole in their wall, labelling it as 'Tony's mark'.

"What happens when you put a 45 year old on a hoverboard", the caption reads.
