News crew saturated by orange fire retardant
A US cameraman was filming wildfires too close for comfort when a heavy stream of fire retardant from a jet fighter spilled out from above.
While residents in Chelan, Washington, were being evacuated, cameraman Eric Jensen and reporter Steve McCarron from KOMO news had nowhere else to go as the orange stream of foam was dumped.
Video and photos of Jensen filming the unfolding emergency were uploaded to his personal twitter account.
The dramatic footage ends with himself and the camera completely saturated by the retardant.

The wildfires were allegedly sparked by a plane crash which burnt down 50 homes and evacuated 1500 houses, including the Chelan Hospital.
