High-fiving shark makes big return

New footage has emerged of the massive great white shark that became an internet sensation after high-fiving a diver earlier this year.

In the new video, marine biologist Mauricio Hoyos Padilla shows the huge shark nicknamed Deep Blue, swimming gracefully near divers off the coast of Mexico.

The shark can be seen swimming right past a shark cage full of divers, as well as a lone diver that was out of the cage, before swimming amongst a school of fish.

When the huge creature returns to the cage, he is sure to give the divers a glimpse of his incredibly sharp teeth before swimming away.

Dr Padilla claims Deep Blue is the largest great white shark ever spotted in the area, which may explain why he was excited enough to leave the safety of his shark cage to high five its fin.
