(Reuters) - A magnitude 5.7 earthquake hit Nepal on Saturday, about 76 km east south east of the capital Kathmandu, at a shallow depth of 10 km, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
A 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck on April 25, killing more than 8,000 people and there have been a series of aftershocks since then.

The 69-year-old mother of four babies who were found dead in a freezer in the US city of Boston will not face criminal charges. District attorney Kevin Hayden called the investigation "one of the most complex, unusual and perplexing that this office has ever encountered". A farmer arrested for shooting dead a suspected burglar in a remote farmhouse has been named locally as Robert Lomas.
