#PutYourDressOut: Tributes flow for Stephanie
Former brides all over Australia are using their wedding dresses to pay tribute to a missing bride-to-be, whose tragic alleged murder has devastated a family and shocked a community.
Women are posting photos of their wedding dresses with the hashtag #PutYourDressOut in honour of Stephanie Scott, who today was supposed to marry her childhood sweetheart.
Ms Scott was reported missing on Monday 7th April after she was last seen during the morning of Easter Sunday at her workplace Leeton High School, where she went to hand over to a teacher replacing her while she would be on her honeymoon in Tahiti.
A cleaner at the school was charged with her murder on Thursday. Police have since found what they believe to be remains of Stephanie's body.
The small country town of Leeton in New South Wales will turn yellow today as the town marks the day Ms Scott would have been married.
Stephanie's family invited the entire town to the lunchtime event in thank you for the outpouring of support that has flowed since news of the tragedy swept through the small community.
