One dead, two critical after separate crashes

A man has died after his vehicle crashed into parked cars on Philip Highway at Elizabeth, in Adelaide's northern suburbs, this afternoon.

Police say the crash occurred at about 4.30pm.

The driver, believed to be a man in his mid-40s, was taken to the Lyell McEwin Hospital but died on arrival.

Meanwhile, two men have been critically injured in a another serious crash at Virgina, north of Adelaide.

Police say the crash occurred on Port Wakefield.

A four-wheel-drive rolled, trapping the two men in the car.

The men, one believed to be in his early 20s and one believed to be in his late 50s, have been critically injured.
