Horrifying near miss as girl hangs head out train
A young girl has illustrated why it is a bad idea to hang your head out of the window of a moving train.
The 30-second YouTube video, which was uploaded two weeks ago, shows a smiling girl with her head out the window of a locomotive.
After a friend instructs her to 'stick your head out', she obliges with almost devastating consequences.
The girl, known as Krista in the video, is seen facing the opposite direction to the oncoming train. Upon hearing it approach at speed, she quickly withdraws her head - an action that certainly saved her life.
Clearly shocked and shaken by the experience, Krista throws herself onto the floor muttering 'oh my God, oh my God', while her friend laughs in the background asking if she is okay.
The video, which has over 50,000 hits, had previously been deleted by YouTube due to the depiction of dangerous activity, however there are several versions on the website.
The young stars of the clip appear to be either American or Canadian.
