Volunteers needed for Crohn’s Disease trial

The Royal Adelaide Hospital taking part in a world-wide study to assess a potential new treatment for Crohn’s Disease – and it is urgently seeking participants.

Research from the study may help improve the quality of life for Crohn’s sufferers by moving from intravenous treatment – which requires hospital visits – to oral medication.

The treatment could make life a great deal easier for patients and there is also a chance it will be more cost effective.

This study requires patients with moderate to severe Crohn’s Disease.

To be eligible, patients must be over 18 years of age, have a confirmed diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease and be in an active disease flare.
