Mystery deepens over Lego man found on beach

A mysterious 45kg Lego man has washed ashore on a Florida beach - and he comes with a message.

The eight-foot-tall monument has baffled and confused locals, and so far no one has come forward to claim or explain the giant's appearance.

The figure was found by beach goer Jeff Hindman as he was taking a pre-dawn walk on Siesta Key Beach, south of Sarasota.

The Lego man is now in the custody of police.

The Lego man wears a shirt with the words "NO REAL THAN YOU ARE" emblazoned on the front, leaving many scratching their heads about its purpose.

It was originally suggested that it was a publicity stunt for Legoland, but it has been denied by the amusement park.

If no one claims it in 90 days, then it will go to Mr Hindman who says he plans to sell it on eBay

This isn't the first time a Lego man has made a mystery appearance, with similar Lego men found in Holland in 2007 and England in 2008.
