Young Lotto winner gives parents incredible gift
A young lotto winner who has been blessed with good luck is using his winnings to give his parents a life-changing gift.
The man in his early 20s, who wishes to remain anonymous is from Williamstown south-west of Melbourne’s city centre, and has vowed to share the million-dollar prize to help his parents pay off their mortgage.
“They’ve done a lot for me over the years – they’ve sacrificed a lot,” he told a Tatts official.
The young man had one of the three division one winning entries in the Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 3807 on October 10.
And he was stunned by the good news.

“I’m only in my 20s so this is huge! I can’t believe it!
“I’ve only just started playing Lotto. I was bored one day and thought I’d give it a go. This is only the fourth ticket I’ve ever got.”
Once the man has helped his parents with his winnings he doesn’t seem to have many grand plans for the remaining money.
“And in terms of the rest, it’ll be wherever the road takes me!” he said.
The man bought the winning 12-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com.
