Young child among three dead in horrific long weekend crash
A young child is among three people killed in a horrific crash on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Princes Highway at Lake Tabourie, about 13 kilometres south of Ulladulla, at 4.30am on Saturday following reports a Honda Accord left the road and hit a tree.
The female driver, a male passenger and the young child all died at the scene.
NSW Police said in a statement they were yet to be formally identified.
Another male passenger was airlifted to hospital and his condition is currently unknown.
Officers from South Coast Police District have set up a crime scene and they are investigating the circumstances around the crash.
The highway was closed on Saturday morning but one lane has since been reopened and is under stop/slow traffic control near Weymouth Road.
People are urged to allow extra travel time and to take care through the area.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
