WATCH: Sinister twist after renovator finds secret room hidden in attic

A worker doing some renovations on a home has discovered a creepy hidden room in the garage attic - but he was never expecting the sinister story behind it.

Sent to a home in Florida to swap out an air conditioning system, the man stumbled across the hidden door.

Climbing into the attic, he noticed one section of the wall that “didn’t look the same as the rest”.

“I pushed on the wall revealing a secret room… when the secret room’s door was closed it didn't even look like it was there," the unnamed worker said.

The secret room contained air vents, stained wood walls, carpeted floors, cable hookups, electrical outlets and even a makeshift bathroom.

“Holy s***, thats a f*****g toilet, so you can pee. That’s crazy. I have never seen anything like this in my life,” the man can be heard saying as he tours the room.

“There was a very grim feeling about the place,” he said.

There were also some personal items sprawled across the floor, as well as two license plates hung on the wall.

Shortly after the video went viral on social media, someone contacted and informed the worker that the house allegedly used to be home to Dee Dee Moore, infamously known as ‘The Lottery Killer’.

In 2012, Moore was convicted of killing Abraham Shakespeare, who had won $38,000 in the lottery, by shooting him in the chest and burying him in the backyard under a slab of cement.

“I’m not sure what the secret room was used for, but if I had to guess, I would guess it was from hiding out from the police,” the renovator said.
