Baby girl sees her parents clearly for the very first time

An adorable baby girl was left in complete shock and awe when she was finally able to see her parents clearly for the very first time.

Video has captured the beautiful moment when Piper tried on her new tiny pink glasses, while she was out at a restaurant with her parents Jessica Sinclair and Andrew Verdusco, who live in Cincinnati, Ohio.

While Piper struggled as the glasses were fitted on her head, an incredible smile broke across her face when she noticed that she could see clearly.

She then continues to gasp and smile as she moves her gaze over and back between her mother and father.

The lovely video has been viewed more than 17 million times since it was uploaded to Facebook on June 7.

"Picked up her glasses. Went out to eat and put them on her. Her reaction melts my heart," mum Jessica wrote alongside the now viral video.

The young couple took their child to a paediatrician after noticing that she had not started crawling.

“They did an eye screening and saw that she might have had a slight astigmatism," Jessica told WKRC News.

“Her eyes checked out healthy...she didn't have an astigmatism, but [she was] extremely farsighted."

“A week later we picked up the glasses and she tried them on for a quick second in the office to make sure they fitted properly,” said Jessica.

“Then we decided to go out to eat… and then this was her reaction of her first time being able to see our faces.”

Piper is not the only one to have an emotional reaction to her new found sight. Here are other beautiful medical miracles which have been caught on camera and some of the medical advancements behind health improvements.
