Miraculous recovery overwhelms 'favourite nurse'
Anyone who ever claimed medical workers do not really care about their patients has never met this nurse.
When Bailey Murrill came to hospital she had been struck by a mystery ailment that left her completely paralysed from the waist down.
After 11 days in hospital, doctors were no closer to discovering the cause of the condition.
But then something amazing happened – Bailey recovered feeling and movement in her legs and got out of her wheelchair.
Although she had actually stood and walked hours earlier, the young girl then decided to play a prank on her favourite nurse while the cameras were rolling.
Upon seeing her step out of her chair, the nurse was overcome, yelling “thank you, Jesus” and hugging her now former-patient with all her might.
Bailey’s mother Becky Murrill posted the video to YouTube and it has since been viewed more than two million times.
“Our daughter, Bailey, had complete paralysis from the waist down for 11 days with no explanation as to why,” Becky wrote.
“This video is of one of her favorite nurses coming onto her shift and not knowing that Bailey had started walking this day.”
Despite the miraculous recovery, doctors are still not sure what caused Bailey’s sudden paralysis.
