Woolworths specials for winter – prices dropped on 200 products

Woolworths has slashed the prices of over 200 winter essentials, including popular meats, cookware and medicinal products.

The supermarket giant said the price drops aim to help customers get more value when they shop.

"We know value and freshness is at the top of the shopping list for many of our customers," Woolworths’ Director of Buying Paul Harker said in a statement.

"As we head into the colder months, we’re dropping the prices on more than 220 products across our supermarket and online."

Prices have been reduced for winter staples including pork, soups, chicken, baking essentials for the cooler months.

While customers can save on cookware ranges, bakeware and baking ingredients, food storage lines and medicinal products for the common cold and flu.

Customers could save up to $10 when purchasing select bulk items such as rice and coffee beans.

Some of the reduced Woolworths winter staples

  • Roast Pork Leg Boneless Small — was $10/kg now $8.50/kg

  • Woolworths RSPCA Approved Chicken Breast Diced 1kg — was $14 now $13

  • COOK Chicken Roasting Portions Italian Style RW — was $7.50/kg now $5.50/kg

  • Pork Loin Steaks 500g — was $11 now $10

  • Woolworths soups — was $3.00 now $2.50

  • Twinings 10pk — was $2.90 now $2.00

  • Grinders Coffee Beans 1KG — was $27, now $20

  • Daawat Basmati Rice 5kg — was $20 now $10

  • Adesso Slow Cooker — was $20 now $16

Woolworths said select baking trays are now up to $4.50 off and select Decor storage containers are now $3 off.

The new reduced prices on winter staples are valid from June 2 until August 31.
