Woman filmed in 'disrespectful' act next to war memorial

A woman has been filmed appearing to urinate next to a war memorial in Sydney’s CBD.

Video uploaded by the Auburn 2144 Facebook page shows the woman squatting with her pants down at Regimental Square.

The memorial commemorates the services of the Royal Australian Regiment in Korea, Vietnam and Malaya, and is situated in Wynyard.

In the video, the woman squats as she leans against a plant.

“You f****** dog, you’re nothing but a dog,” a man laughing says while the woman is filmed.

The woman then pulls her pants up and walks away.

NSW Police told Yahoo News Australia it’s aware of the video but the woman featured is yet to be identified and enquiries are being conducted.

Police encouraged anyone with info to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

‘No bloody respect’

On Facebook, people were less than impressed with the woman’s antics calling her “disrespectful”, “disgusting” and “filthy”.

One woman called her a “low life”.

“No bloody respect for our diggers,” another man wrote.
