Woman killed after shot in the stomach at home
A woman has died after being shot in the stomach at a home southeast of Melbourne.
The woman, 31, was shot at Whittington, Geelong on Wednesday about 9.20pm.
She suffered a shotgun wound and was rushed to hospital but later died.
A man in his 20s is being questioned by police but is yet to be charged.
Detectives have indicated they aren’t looking for anyone else in relation to the woman’s death.
Homicide squad detectives are on scene and the investigation is ongoing.
