A woman was allegedly dragged into bushland by two men who attempted to sexually assault her in a horrifying late night attack at a busy city park.

Police allege the woman, aged in her 40s, was walking on Glenn Pl, near Perth’s CBD, about 9.40pm on Tuesday when she was jumped by two men.

The men allegedly dragged the woman into bushland adjacent to Kagoshima Park Lake where they tried to assault her before she was able to scream for help.

“The female was able to scream for help, causing the two men to flee from the area,” police said in a statement on Wednesday.
