A woman has somehow escaped uninjured after crashing her car through a brick wall at a shopping centre in Sydney’s northwest.

The woman smashed her Toyota Yaris through the wall near the Woolworths supermarket on Hannah Street, Beecroft on Monday about 8am.

NSW Police said she escaped uninjured from the crash.

It’s not known what caused the collision, which judging by the pictures caused the car to break through the brick wall.

But it’s believed she may have hit the accelerator while intending to hit the brake.

On Facebook, where NSW Police shared images of the crash, people were aghast.

“I’ll never underestimate the strength of a hatch again,” one woman wrote.
