One man in an orange shirt is seen allegedly striking the other man repeatedly before he trips over a median strip.

Despite the young man’s fall, the man in orange continues, allegedly punching and kicking him as he lay on the ground.

“They just pulled up and started going at it,’’ a witness told 7 News.

“He just started hitting him and kicking him and then he fell to the ground – I think he tripped over and he just got him and started laying into him.”

NSW Police confirmed that they were called to the incident on Friday.

“Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into the incident; however, no persons involved have come forward to report the matter to police,” a police spokesperson said.

Cars streamed past the incident, with no one stopping to get in the middle of the exchange.

The fight only stopped when a woman who was with the man lying on the ground screamed.

The man in the orange shirt is then seen getting into his ute and driving off.

As inquiries continue, police are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to call Ryde police or Crime Stoppers.
