An Aussie influencer has woken up to find one of her multiple storefronts was allegedly broken into late at night.

Brittany Saunders informed her 660,000 Instagram followers in a series of bedside videos saying the cafe she owns with her partner in Newcastle, north of Sydney, was broken into overnight.

“Not our cafe being broken into last tonight”, Ms Saunders wrote in the early hours of Thursday morning.

She then filmed herself explaining the terrifying ordeal saying she was looking forward to a good night sleep before she got the call to say her cafe Outdo Espresso in Newcastle West was broken into.

“Someone thought it would be iconic to break into our cafe,” she said.

Ms Saunders founded size-inclusive fashion labels Fayt, Staple Swim and Form Active while running the cafe and coffee company Flamingo.

“Jokes on the guy that did it anyway, he f***ed with two people who have the best security cameras that money can buy.

“The police said what the f*** these are such high quality cameras, he may as well have just looked at the camera and smiled and waved.”

She said the alleged thief was caught on camera taking $50 cash from the register before taking a Coca Cola and a juice from the fridge.

“All jokes aside, not a fan of being broken into, have never experienced this before, feeling quite violated,” she said.

She said she would struggle to get to sleep after the ordeal, and even joked that her boyfriend AJ should go to the service station to pick up a limited-edition pink V energy drink as they would be “pulling an all-nighter”.

NSW Police have been contacted for comment.
