Serbians React to Mladic Verdict, Claim Conspiracy Against Him

Some residents of the Serbian capital of Belgrade reacted to the guilty verdict delivered at a United Nations war crimes court on November 22 against the former Bosnian Serb commander Ratko Mladic, claiming the charges against him were fabricated.

The International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia convicted Mladic on charges of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity, including the massacre of more than 7,000 men and boys at Srebrenica in 1995.

The 74-year-old was removed from the Hague court after he shouted at judges reading their verdict.
