Giant Spider Hitches Ride With Terrified Woman
An Australian woman was horrified after realising a giant spider had hitched a ride with her on November 17, clinging to the visor above the driver’s seat for over 20 minutes.
Bianca Merrick, who lives in Coffs Harbour on the north coast of New South Wales, said she was driving home from work when she noticed the eight-legged passenger.
“I was on my way home from work when I looked up and saw it staring at me,” Merrick said. "I considered stopping but I didn’t know how I’d get it out of the car, so I thought the best option for me was to keep driving and pretend it wasn’t there for the longest 20 minutes of my life.
“When I got home I slowly got out of the car, locked the door, went to sleep and pretended that it never happened. I checked the car next [day], armed with bug spray and a broom but there was no spider to be found.” Credit: Bianca Merrick via Storyful
