Husband of Brittany Maynard speaks out against Gorsuch euthanasia stance
Supreme Court nominee Judge Neil Gorsuch once authored a book opposing assisted suicide and euthanasia. With Gorsuch now up for confirmation, the husband of the late Brittany Maynard, a terminally ill woman who fought for the right to die in 2014, is speaking out. "If Neil Gorsuch, or anyone in his position, had seen firsthand what 'medical aid in dying' is, he would probably have a much different opinion," Dan Diaz tells Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric. "And what he wrote in his book would be significantly different had he known my wife, Brittany."
