A teenage boy has been dragged along by a train at Southern Cross station in Melbourne.
The teen was attempting to board a South Morang train when it began to take off from the station.
He fell between the platform and the train and was dragged along for around six metres.
The train then came to an emergency stop and the boy was able to free himself and climb back up onto the platform.
As emergency services arrived, passengers were instructed to leave the train.
