Driver on the run after ramming cop cars in Macca's drive-thru

A driver is on the run after ramming two police cars in a McDonald’s drive-through in southeast Melbourne.

CCTV captured the driver ramming the two cars in Carrum Downs.

Victoria Police officers saw the car with registration plates that didn’t match but when they tried to speak to the man he deliberately drove at both vehicles.

One officer suffered minor injuries.

The driver got away but a passenger is being questioned.

Police have issued a photo of a car similar to the one which rammed them – a BMW X5, which they say has extensive damage.
