PICTURED: Man wanted over indecent assault of 11yo girl

Police have released a photo of a man who is wanted for questioning after an 11-year-old girl was indecently assaulted in Melbourne's CBD.

The girl was walking with her mother and brother in Collins Street on June 4 when the man approached her, and allegedly put his hand under her skirt and grabbed her on the buttock.

The man then crossed the street before the girl's mother confronted him, took photos of him and went to police.

Police have released the image of the man, who is in his 40s and about 170cm tall with a medium build, dark brown hair and a pointed nose.
