Amazing video of free-climber scaling high-rise crane above Melbourne
If you're scared of heights, then perhaps look away now.
Bryce Wilson, a self-proclaimed 'Urban Explorer', has recorded his climb to the top of one of Melbourne's tallest buildings, without using any safety equipment.
In a video posted to YouTube on Monday, the daredevil can be seen scaling the Prima Pearl building, before climbing to the tip of a crane, 304 metres above Southbank.
A full-time marketing engineer by day, Bryce tackled the high-rise crane on Sunday when it was quiet and less chance of him being caught.
He simply walked down a street, gained entry to the site and made his way up the stairs.
Once on top of the building, he climbed over a fence and into the structure of the crane.
While precariously placed on top of the structure, he captured on helmet camera some sensational, yet stomach-turning video, which has been seen around the world.
But Bryce is no stranger to life on the edge, he has climbed some of Melbourne's tallest buildings, capturing some amazing views of the city from the sky.
"Once you're up there you just get it done," he said.
"If you're worried about it, you're not focused on getting the task done.
"At the end of the day I did it only for me.
"It was cool to get some nice photos, but it was challenge that I set myself, and a challenge I achieved."
He says he's pretty confident in his exhilarating stunts, having practiced free-climbing both indoors and out, and aims to keep going higher.
Bryce says it is not the first time he has ventured to the top of this particular skyscraper in Melbourne, and will attempt it again.
Despite being under construction, Bryce was not challenged by security at any point.
Police say he could be charged with trespass, conduct endangering a person and conduct endangering life.
The construction company is yet to comment.
