Unruly horse almost causes chaos at royal wedding

While all appeared to be running smoothly on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day, an unruly horse threatened to throw the royal wedding into chaos.

As the precession made its way through Windsor towards the castle, television viewers caught a glimpse of the white horse breaking away from the pack and straying towards the crowd.

The wayward horse strayed perilously close to a standing police officer, who managed to side step the rogue behaviour at the last second.

The horse’s rider thankfully managed to reign it back in again before leading the way for the newlyweds who rode their open-top carriage though Windsor.

The near miss was picked up by eagle-eyed viewers who took to social media to share their reaction.

“Anyone else watching the Royal wedding and stressed for that white horse?” one Twitter user wrote.

“Please tell me someone else saw that horse in front of the carriage. The man riding that horse deserves a medal for keeping that horse under control,” another said.
