Ukrainian newspaper notes ‘two different worlds’ between Putin, Zelensky interviews

A Ukrainian newspaper drew a contrast Friday between an interview Russian President Vladimir Putin gave to pundit Tucker Carlson and one Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky granted to Fox News anchor Bret Baier this week.

“Two different worlds,” a social media post from The Kyiv Post reads.

The post was accompanied by two photos: one showing Carlson interviewing Putin in Moscow and another showing Baier sitting with Zelensky from the front lines of the ongoing war between the two countries.

Putin earlier this month used his conversation with Carlson to push propaganda about his war effort and critique the United States over its involvement in the conflict.

Zelensky, during his interview with Baier — the first he had given from the front lines — called Putin’s sit-down with Carlson “two hours of bullshit.”

Fox pulled Carlson off the air last April, and the pundit has since launched a new show on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. The conservative pundit was widely mocked this week for his praise of the Russian infrastructure and economy during his recent trip to Moscow.
