The decomposing bodies of a woman and a man were discovered inside a shipping container on a remote farm property in Central West NSW over the weekend, with police now investigating the pair’s cause of death.

Kelly Williams, 37, and a 55-year-old man were found at the Gulgong property, about 290km north of Sydney, about 11am on April 13.

“On arrival, officers attached to Orana-Mid Western Police District located two bodies in a shipping container,” police said on Thursday.

“A crime scene was established and forensically examined. A post-mortem was conducted to determine the cause of death.

“Inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the incident and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.”

Police also confirmed they were not treating the deaths as suspicious.

Tributes have flowed for Ms Williams on social media, with Jason Britton writing: “RIP my beautiful Kellz.”

“You will be missed no end (and) I will love you till the end of time, as much as I do now,” he added.

In another post, he wrote: “Missing you so much. Love you now, loved you then, (and) will love you always.”

Police sources told The Daily Telegraph that they were investigating whether the deaths were caused by a small butane heater found inside the container.
