Twitter brings two strangers together after chance encounter in the street

Twitter has somehow brought two strangers together after a chance encounter on the street regarding a haircut.

A Philadelphia woman, known as Stephanie, wrote on Twitter she was in a rideshare on Wednesday on her way to get a haircut.

She told her driver the style she wanted was “hard to explain” – until she noticed someone with the haircut she liked in the car next to them.

She pointed the woman out to her driver, who then decided to share Stephanie’s thoughts.

“My driver rolled down the window,” she tweeted.

“And started hollering that I loved her hairdo and oh my God, I tried to BECOME the seat.”

Stephanie said the driver yelled out to the other woman: “My passenger thinks your hair is so great, miss”.

The interaction didn’t end there either.

The woman with the “great hair” later tweeted about the encounter, revealing herself as Denice Frohman, a New York-based poet and writer.

“Thank you lady in the Hyundai Sonata,” Ms Frohman tweeted.

“You made Wednesday feel good.”

More than 2,800 people liked the tweet, and it didn’t take long for someone to figure out the two were talking about each other with one man tagging Stephanie.

“Holy f***,” Stephanie tweeted on realising.

“Oh my God, I’m embarrassed all over again. I love your New York hairdo ma’am,” she added.

Ms Frohman noticed the response too.

“Welp, this story just got cooler. Thanks!” she tweeted.

Other Twitter users were in awe the pair managed to find each other online.

“Please tell me these people have swapped stylist info and the awesome dream haircut will become a reality!” one woman tweeted.

Another woman added “this is amazeballs”.

It’s not known if the two women plan on meeting up.
