Trump fundraising off Biden allegedly calling him a ‘sick f—’
Former President Trump is attempting to capitalize on reports that President Biden called him a “sick f—” behind closed doors.
In the fundraising email late Friday, Trump told his supporters that “he doesn’t just think that about me, he thinks that about EVERY SINGLE ONE of my proud supporters.”
Biden also allegedly said “what a f—ing a–hole the guy is,” according to Politico, who first reported the comments Thursday.
Trump wrote in his pitch that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “calls us deplorables” and said Biden “will spit on us” and call his supporters “every curse word in the dictionary.”
“And I know with your patriotic support at this very moment, WE WILL STOP HIM!” Trump, the current GOP front-runner in the presidential race, said in his email. “Before the day is over, I’m calling on EVERY PATRIOT reading this message to chip in and say, I LOVE PRESIDENT TRUMP!”
Trump signed off of the email, highlighted by Mediaite, telling voters that if they support him now, “we’ll be the ones laughing on Election Day.”
The Politico report noted that Biden has a reputation for salty language behind closed doors. But, at a campaign event at Valley Forge marking the third anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol, the president almost slipped up when he said “What a sick–“ before stopping himself.
Trump’s email is the latest of his fundraising attempts. He has also made attempts to capitalize off his criminal indictments, state efforts to throw him off primary ballots and even off his Georgia mug shot.
The email comes just days after it was reported through federal election filings that Trump’s fundraising committees spent nearly $30 million in legal fees for the former president in the second half of 2023.
