Tributes are pouring in for three friends who were killed when the car they were travelling in struck a light pole in Western Australia.

The white Holden Commodore, containing five men, was travelling on Wallwork Rd at Wedgefield in the Pilbara region about 9.20pm on June 10 when it veered off the road and hit the light pole.

Emergency services rushed to the scene where passenger Brandon Krakouer, 24, was declared dead.

Jermayne Smith, 25, had also died a short time later in hospital.

Harley Corbett, 22, was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital following the crash and was admitted to the intensive care unit.

All three young men were passengers in the rear of the vehicle.

The other two passengers, a 32-year-old front passenger and the 25-year-old driver were taken to Hedland Health Campus and treated for minor injuries.

Since the incident, tributes for the men have flooded social media with two sports clubs expressing their condolences.
