Train station attack leads to attempted murder charges
A man has been charged with attempted murder over an incident in the CBD yesterday afternoon that left an older man with serious injuries.
Police allege the 34-year-old man was involved in an altercation with the 43-year-old man at Perth Underground train station on Murray Street about 2.40pm.
The victim suffered wounds to his abdomen and neck and remains in a serious but stable condition in Royal Perth Hospital.
The Heathridge man has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear in Perth Magistrate's Court today.
